Sally Allsup

Sally Allsup has been a Master Gardener since 1998, but this was just the frosting on the cake.  She holds a masters degree in landscape architecture which certainly is evident when you walk through "the small garden," a reference she uses to describe her beautiful yard.

"The small Garden," gets its name from the micro or mini environments that she developed around her residence.  She has created outdoor "rooms" that are entities within themselves while being part of the whole site.  You will notice the Japanese influences in her garden as you stroll along the paths. The main elements of this type of Japanese garden are:

Serenity, peaceful surroundings, originally created for meditation or relaxation
Water - quiet water or slow flowing water and
Earth elements: stones and plant materials that blend and that are not obtrusive.
